Since it was still 9 degrees outside with a windchill of minus-something this morning, we decided to try out a science experiment after we saw that clip about the Minnesota reporter throwing up a cup of hot water in the air.
So this morning, the boys boiled a little bit of water and poured it into two cups. Why two, I don’t know. Anyway, here’s their version of the cup throw …
Yes, the water did evaporate and form into mist … or little drops of ice … and floated away.
See? You can still do stuff outside, even with this polar vertex going on …
