My current obsession …

… is crocheting hats.
It all started with a posted item on Freecycle.org, asking for hats and scarves for a class of children in a needy area. Well, since I already had one or two lying around, decided to make a few more to send to the class. I sent off a dozen or so, and then looked for more patterns.

In the search for patterns, came across those charity groups that are making hats for those in need. So now, I’ve officially joined three organized charity groups – for newborns, for children, for the troops. I will still continue to send out random donations to others, when I find them. But now there’s a purpose to using the yarn stash around the house.
