Saturdays are Market Day. They tell me that more are selling on Sundays too, but Saturday is the market day.
Space is not a problem … use whatever space you can find …
… a nice little fruit-stand on the sidewalk …
… lay out a cloth .. or not … out on the grass, the stones, the gravel, and spread your wares …
… or hang them from the walls …
… in front of a wall …
… at the sides of the building …
… or hang it up on the gate rails …
… with time for a quick hair-style …
… or a sandal-shine in between …
… or walk around with baskets on your head …
Now this … I don’t know if he was selling these chickens, which was my first thought …
but then again, he could have just finished buying lunch and dinner for the next week …

This was by Petion-Ville. It was just different to see him walking around with all the chickens on him. Usually the chickens are on the ground, not walking around! lol
