Which Doesn’t Belong?

I had noticed this last year, but paid it no attention.

This year, though, I noticed it more.  Maybe because there were more of them out on the floor?

Or maybe it was grouped together and made it more noticeable?  hmmm … shouldn’t it be the other way around?

Or maybe it’s an extra petal?  an outgrowth? an extension of the middle?

Anyway … now I have that children’s song (from Sesame Street?) running through my head … you know the one … ‘Which one of these … is not like the other?’
