The End of an Era ….

And just like that, the sun sets over a lifetime in a building ….

It is surreal.

Colleagues ask how do I feel? I excited? What are the plans?

At this time, I’m not feeling anything special. It’s just another end of the day. Tomorrow is another day. There’s no special plans right now.

I’m sure it’ll sink in eventually … maybe two weeks .. maybe two months … or when I realize after some time that I really, really don’t have to go in again.

For now, we will just relax and de-stress, just as if we were at the start of a vacation. And then we’ll take it from there.
