My colleague said that her pencils kept disappearing from her desk.
So she left out this pencil instead.
Nobody’s walked away with it; it’s still on her desk.

It reminded me of when we were in school. I remember seeing many of my classmates writing with short pencils, until there was no lead left. Yes, the pencils were shorter than this by then. But new pencils were a luxury then.
Oh, and those are my doodles, during a meeting that droned on and on.
Perhaps they’ll show up on granny squares … or hats … or doilies …
