Scenes from a baby shower that caught my eyes …
… footprints across balloons …
… floating giraffes …
… beaded sandals …
… beanie babies and their babies …
… neon green nails and a butterfly ring …
… and Jethro …
… listening attentively … and picking his cage lock … yes, a padlock.
Clever bird knows how to open up the latch on his cage, so now he’s permanently locked in. Â Poor bird.
That is too funny! He’s a smarty – and adorable!
Yes, way too smart sometimes. Our parrot also does the same thing – he knows how to open the latch on the doors. So I tied down the doors with those metallic twisties (the ones that seal the bread bags?)
Ha wow. Parrots must be pretty intelligent then. Does that work (the twisty ties)?
Yes, they’re very intelligent. It worked for me … maybe he didn’t see the ties, which I had tied at the bottom of the doors, so he didn’t get a chance to chew on it.
Out of sight, out of mind. Working on toddlers since mom could hide the bubbles bottle. I guess this works on parrots now too. 😉
