Oh wait … that’s from ‘Game of Thrones’. The new season is starting soon, and I still haven’t caught up with the last season! Looks like another marathon session …
Or maybe winter is coming back. I keep hearing on the news that the first day of spring is sometime this week … and yet we’re in the middle of another snow storm system …
Last weekend, the boys played a tournament in the rain and snow, ice rain, sleet, hailstones …
Flurries started coming down as the boys played their first game. It only got worse from then on, changing to and alternating between freezing rain, then ice, sleet, snow … See that? I wasn’t coming out of the car with all that going on.
For the second game, we had to drive to another field, 20 minutes away.
And this field? This was where the finals were going to be played. I still wasn’t coming out of the car.
Good thing the field was called as unplayable, and they had to cancel the game. Or postpone to a rain date in June, they haven’t decided yet.
At that point, I didn’t care. I was freezing … or already frozen … just in that short time when I went out to take some shots of them. I think I’m getting old for this …
