Red Carpet

After the flurries yesterday, we are bathed in bright sunshine today.  Still cold, but the sun is out.

And as I stepped out today, this is what I was greeted with.  A red carpet for me!

All these leaves fell overnight.  I thought that it would last till the weekend, so that I can take more photos of it.  I haven’t even gone through the photos I took of the leaves last week, and now it’s in full red bloom and leaves are almost gone with the winds.
